Below you’ll find some selections I’ve been enjoying and anticipating as of late. One common denominator you’ll notice throughout this post is Australia. It seems this mystical and beautiful country has been inspiring a very steady stream of extremely talented musicians and producers over the past few years. I mean we have Cut Copy, Van She, Flight Facilities, Cassian, Bag Raiders and the list goes on. They’ve really come a long way since Men At Work and Silverchair. Anyhew…enjoy.
ColeCo hails from Toronto (that’s in Canada) and are slowly, but surely making a buzz with their brilliant Nu Disco infused productions and remixes. I highly doubt anyone remembers, but I did a post about them this past Febuary in regards to their EP Don’t Stop of which you can download or free at their website colecomusic.com. Below is their latest and it’s fantastic. It consists of a nicely flipped Brandy sample and that Tropical Disco sound that I find highly reminiscent of Moon Boots and Perseus productions. This track will be on their next EP due out shortly.
ColeCo – Ricky Smiley
Van She is yet another act from Australia that’s been making waves for sometime now and I’m highly anticipating their new album. Below is the latest single from the album slated for release on July 6th. You will also find SebastiAn’s Electro infused take on their other single and title track from the album Idea Of Happiness.
Van She – Jamaica

Flight Facilities (also from Australia) released their latest single With You and it features vocals from Hot Chip drummer Grovensor. Beautiful.
Flight Facilities feat Grovensor – With You
The Magician offered up his take on RAC’s latest single and first original production and I must say that it blows the original out of the water.
RAC feat Penguin Prison – Hollywood (The Magician Remix) {Free Download}
Chicago’s own Flosstradamus teamed up with DJ Slink for yet another Trapped out banger. They’ve been dishing out tracks like mad men recently and Trap seems to be the styling of choice. Not complaining as it seems to be working wonderfully.

While we’re on the Chicago tip here’s some Only Children. Love what these gents have been doing.

Now I bring you back to Australia with Country Club. Country Club consists of Australia’s Cassian and Shazam and I’ve included some their stuff in previous posts, but only recently found out exactly who they are. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Cassian was involved. Their new and first EP together drops next week. Below are 2 of my fav selections from the release.
Country Club – Excuse Me (Original Mix)
Country Club – Croquet (Original Mix)
Cassian’s obviously been busy on his own as well because he has a new EP dropping June 19th. Sounding fantastic as expected.
Cassian – The Love Cuts EP
Hailing from the UK, Disclosure has been on a tirade as of late dropping jaws left and right. I describe their unique style as a hibachi chopping of R&B vocals seamlessly infused with garage and house. Below are a few selections (you’ll find one more in the bonus beats section at the bottom), but I recommend a full on investigation. They dropped their latest “The Face EP” (available on Beatport, Amazon and itunes) this past week so that’s a perfect place to start.
Disclosure feat Ria Ritchie – Control (Original Mix)
Q-Tip – Work It Out (Disclosure Booty Call Edit) {Free Download}
Finally…a remix of Ellie Goulding’s cover of The Weeknd’s High For This from Monsieur Adi. The gent hails from Paris and he did a great job here. As poppy as her music may be….I still find her beautiful voice absolutely irresistible especially when covering The Weeknd.

Oh and here’s my SummerSustenanceMixtape in case anyone missed it. See the previous post for track listing.
Collin McKenna – SummerSustenanceMixtape {Free Download}

Jessie Ware – Running (Disclosure Remix)
Off Da Clock – Boogie News (Original Mix)
Moon Boots – Bills to Pay (Original Mix)
Beni – Someone Just Like You (Posso Remix)
Cheers and have a fantastic weekend. That is all.
