So much has been going on I don’t even know where to about.. January 28th with TheHundred Presents Kris Barman of INNERPARTYSYSTEM..that kicked off what I can only call a magical music weekend followed up with a Passion Pit DJ Set the next week..both shows far exceeded my highest expectations..anything that ‘TheHundred’ touches keeps getting better and better, a big shout out and props to option4 AKA Brennen Bryarly and all members of TheHundred for bringing the energy and vibe, keeping these events solid, which is another reason why I’m posting (What is theHundred, check the post here

Check out the next event! TheHundred Presents: BRENMAR   …..

Whats extra special about this event is that our very own Star Stuff Scallywags contributor and Denver local, Collin McKenna, will have a chance to display his DJ talents – and if he plans on mixing any of the songs he has posted lately  it will be a sure treat – what can we expect from Collin? We were lucky enough to get a sample of a few tracks that will likely be in his set tomorrow:

DJ Dan – Whores Play [Rising Music]

J PAUL GETTO – Represent (Edit) [Represent EP out 01/27/12 on Guesthouse Music]

Punks Jump Up – Get Down (Special CCCrash Mixxx)

I want more already!

What about the Headliner of the night? Blatantly stolen from the Facebook event page, “BRENMAR has demonstrated that R&B, house, hip-hop and juke can all be woven together in a future style sound that BRENMAR himself only describes as “Club music for the present”. With releases on Discobelle and several other large labels, this Chicago native has absolutely thrown the dance world a pleasant curveball that others are struggling to keep up with”

Brenmar – Temperature Rising

And how can we forget option4? Never heard a track or set from him that does not deliver.

Exoshere – Violet Winter (option4 remix)

Last but not least, keeping up with the spirit of local love, I would like to introduce a track by Ft. Collin’s own “Blendrix” ..his unique “mixture of multiple different bass-centric EDM sub-genres, combined with analog guitar riffs and glitch effects” will leave you craving for more..which if so you are in luck because we will have an interview, full EP, and other tracks posted soon!

Blendrix – Smirk (Original Mix)
